I replicated the beautiful Thermae Logo using blackiron steel colorized with various colors of metal patina. Several coats of automotive clear coate were applied sealing it from rust and weather. The chemical reactions of patina create beautiful coloration and a unique character making each piece it's own individual work of art.

Porcelain Tile on Clear Lexan Base Porcelain tiles were cut into 6" squares adhered onto a clear Lexan base. An alternating elevated layer on top was designed to allow light to cast beautiful and defining illumination from behind at night.

Thermae Retreat Spa Signage

Thermae Retreat was founded in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. by Kelly Doyle and was named south Florida’s “Best Spa Retreat of 2016 and 2017” by Trip Advisor and Yelp.

Mahoning County resident David Kapp, owner of First Step Recovery, was introduced to Thermae Retreat in Fort Lauderdale two years ago. He was so inspired by the concept and benefits he experienced that he introduced Mahoning County resident Hilary Cook to Thermae. Together, they brought Thermae Retreat to Boardman, Ohio.

I was commissioned to design and build outdoor & interior signage. My ultimate goal was to reflect the high-end simple elegance and tasteful design that defines the beautiful and relaxing atmosphere of the interior spa. (Interior design by Coventry Lighting- (Coventry Lighting)
